Keeping Technology Balanced and Safe at ILCS

At Inland Leaders Charter School, technology is an important part of preparing students for success in school and beyond. Every student is provided with a one-to-one device, ensuring consistent access to digital learning tools, online resources, and educational programs both in the classroom and during independent learning activities.

Our Technology Department works closely with teachers, administrators, students, and families to maintain a secure and reliable technology environment. The department uses internet filtering, device-management systems, security protections, and ongoing monitoring to help protect students from inappropriate content and online threats while using school devices and networks.

Student safety online involves more than technology systems alone. ILCS also teaches students how to use technology safely, responsibly, and respectfully. Students receive guidance in digital citizenship, online privacy, appropriate communication, cybersecurity awareness, and responsible use of artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.

The Technology Department provides ongoing technical support to students and staff, helping ensure devices and instructional programs remain accessible and effective. Through a combination of secure systems, responsive support, staff supervision, and digital citizenship education, ILCS is committed to providing students with a safe and productive digital learning experience.
